This is my first wholecloth quilt design based on a fragment of Gothic revival stonework that decorates the Museum of Natural History in Oxford.
Quilt size 62 х 62 см. It is hand-quilted, while the trapunto outline is free-motion machine stitched.
I could not resist creating some textural contract by adding a lace border and some tiny Mill Hill sparkling beads.
