Frosted Leaves Wholecloth Quilt

This is my second entry for Amy's Creative Side Bloggers Quilt Festival
Frosted Leaves is my original hand-drawn design created specifically to adorn our master bedroom:)) I display it as a wallhanging with some sheer white curtains behind it for a romantic background.

I used pure white cotton and some beautiful embroidery thread in neutral colours to add that tiny bit of shade and sparkle.

Beautiful grey linen on the back:

And the close-up of my free-motion quilting:

Thank you for visiting my blog, and come again soon!

Bluebells and Cherry Blossoms Art Quilt

This quilt is based on my original landscape photograph from East Sussex. It is made out of hundreds of tiny fabric cutouts, stitched and free-motion embroidered.

Foreground blossoms and leaves have been individually painted on silk and hand-stitched in place.
The quilt is framed in a plain white painted wooden frame.
